Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 20, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Sharpify ("Sharpify", "we", "us", or "our") handles information in connection with the Sharpify mobile application (the "App"). We built Sharpify to be private by design. Please read this policy carefully.

The short version: Sharpify uses your device's front (TrueDepth) camera and ARKit to sense where you are looking, in real time, entirely on your device. We do not store, save, record, or transmit any camera imagery, face data, or gaze data. No account is required.

1. Camera and Face-Tracking Data

The core feature of Sharpify measures your visual focus. To do this, the App uses Apple's ARKit face-tracking technology, which relies on the front-facing TrueDepth camera to detect the position of your face and eyes.

The camera signal is used momentarily to compute whether your gaze is on the target, and is then discarded. Nothing derived from the camera leaves the device.

2. Information Stored on Your Device

Sharpify stores the following information locally on your device so the App can function and show your progress:

This information remains on your device. If you delete the App, this locally stored data is removed with it.

3. Information We Do Not Collect

Sharpify does not require you to create an account or provide an email address, name, or password to use the App. We do not collect contact information, precise location, contacts, photos, or browsing history.

4. Subscriptions and Purchases

Sharpify offers an auto-renewable subscription ("Sharpify Monthly") that is processed by Apple through the App Store. Payment, billing, and renewal are handled entirely by Apple under your Apple ID. We do not receive or store your payment card details. Apple may share limited, anonymized transaction and subscription-status information with us so we can provide and manage your subscription. Apple's handling of your information is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

5. Analytics and Diagnostics

Sharpify does not use third-party advertising SDKs and does not sell your data. Any optional, aggregated diagnostic setting is off by default and, if enabled, is used solely to improve the App's stability and never includes camera, face, or gaze data. Apple may also provide us with aggregate, anonymized App Store metrics if you have enabled sharing with developers in your device settings.

6. Children's Privacy

Sharpify is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will address it.

7. Your Rights

Because your data is stored locally and we do not maintain user accounts or servers holding your personal data, you remain in control. You can delete all data associated with the App at any time by deleting the App from your device. For questions about your rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA, contact us using the details below.

8. Data Security

Information stored by the App is protected by your device's built-in security features. Because face and gaze data are never stored or transmitted, there is no such data at rest or in transit to be compromised.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

10. Contact Us
